Arizona’s newest Trout Unlimited chapter

Chartered in Payson Arizona, the ‘Gila Trout’ chapter of TU joins more than 400 TU chapters around the country which are working on conserving, protecting and restoring North America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds.

The ‘Payson Fly Casters club’ has expanded their efforts and membership to support the national organization of Trout Unlimited www.tu.org . The Gila Trout Chapter is working on new projects to Arizona streams to promote and enhance better trout fisheries. Meetings are now being conducted with the US Forest Service and Arizona Game and Fish Department on these projects. More information on these projects will be forthcoming as soon as goals are set.

The Gila Trout Chapter of Trout Unlimited in conjunction with Payson Fly Casters club holds monthly meetings on the last Saturday of each month at the Mazatzal Casino in Payson. The meetings will be at the casino restaurant at 9AM for breakfast (meeting follows). Anyone interested in joining Trout Unlimited and the Gila Trout Chapter is welcome. Trout Unlimited is a non profit 501C3 organization. Any one interested in making a tax deductible donation to our cause, please contact Chapter President Bob Youtz at 928-474-5024 or by e mail at webmasterpaysonflycasters@q.com
